How Chief Came To Be
Our founder Martin Mueller immigrates from Europe to the United States of America.
Entrepreneur and inventor of Auto-Pack Lilly Tulip packaging machinery accumulates over one hundred patents for equipment and packaging products. This was the beginning of the automatic packaging of ice cream and dairy products into preformed containers and cones.
Mueller Technologies was born in Chicago, USA, where Martin Mueller invented and obtained the trade mark for the revolutionary Push Treat with a one-piece stick. Others also refer to this special frozen treat as the Push Up.
Chief Packaging was started and Mueller Technologies is integrated in Oldsmar, Florida. The world class food grade facility was built by the brothers (Martin Mueller and Richard Mueller), with high speed tube winding, and custom built assembly machinery by their sister-company, Osgood Industries Inc., and an injection molding was created to produce the Push Treats.
High speed production machinery to produce Squeeze Treats (Calippo tubes) is installed every year, as well as Cup Treats (paper cups). Chief Packaging is now offering the capability to produce to the new Skinny Cup Treat.
Who We Are Today
Chief Packaging is a customer service focused manufacturer of paper tube and cup products for high speed filling and sealing of novelty, dairy, desert and snack food products. We specialize in paper tube products but have a wide variety of standard paper cup products available. Custom cup sizes are also available as we are a medium sized manufacturer that is capable of high volume production. Innovation in packaging, renewable, recyclable, combustible are continuing to be our priority for our customers.
